Federal Election 2006

A federal election was called on November 29, 2005 for Monday, January 23, 2006. A new government will be formed based on what individual voters like you decide to do on the fourth Monday in January.

The PEI Council of the Disabled would like you to consider disability issues and what the political parties have to say on them when you decide how you are going to vote. As a charitable organization, the Council can not support any party or candidate. We want you to have a look at the issues and policies of the parties before you decide how to vote. You may decide that one party or another is a better choice for people with disabilities than the others.

To help you decide we have added this section to our web site. This section contains both some interesting federal election information and responses to a candidate disability issues survey.
